Computers in the Lab

There are two kinds of computers in the lab, 28 standard systems on the right side of the room, and 9 video editing systems on the left. All run Windows XP and have the following software set:

Microsoft Office 2007
Adobe Creative Suite 3
- Photoshop (The world standard for image editing)
- Dreamweaver (Website editing)
- Acrobat (Create and edit PDF files)
- Illustrator (Vector graphics)
- Fireworks
- Flash
oXygen XML Editor
Audacity (Sound Editor)
ArcGIS (Spatial-analysis, data-management, mapping)

The video editing systems also have this software:

Vegas Movie Studio Platinum
Sound Forge Audio Studio
ABBYY FineReader OCR (On the 4 systems with scanners)

The lab has been stocked with guide books for many of the applications. Feel free to use them as needed, but please make sure to put them back before you leave!
