Humanities Account Requests
Apply for an Undergraduate Humanities Account
To obtain your own account on the College of Humanities servers, you need to go to https://humanities.osu.edu/osuauth/his/UnderGraduate/.After selecting the above link, you will be taken to a Secure Logon page that requests your OSU ID and password. Once these are input, you will see a page requesting information that will allow Humanities Information Systems to set-up a Humanities Network account for you. This account will give you storage space for your personal files. It will remain active while you are an enrolled major in a College of Humanities department. We will also keep your storage space active for one (1) quarter after you graduate.
Part of your storage space is a public Web site. This Web site would be a great place to post your resume/portfolio for prospective employers. You will receive instructions as to how to populate, use and access this Web site once your account is activated.
Change Your Password
Use this Change your password link to change your current password.Once you have been given a password from Humanities Information Systems, it will only work for five (5) attempts to access your account. You must change it to something that you will remember and then it will work for approximately ninety (90) days. You can use this same link to change a current password, that you know, to another password in both cases.
Access Your Files
Here is a link to go where you may access the files you have placed on the Humanities Network Account. You may only access your files if you have received a Humanities Network account (see Apply for an Undergraduate Humanities Account above).
Password Reset
Reset your password. You need to Reset your password when you have forgotten or lost your current password.
