.Meeting Information and Minutes

The Dean's Student Advisory Group (D S A G) is an enthusiastic and well-rounded group of students who represent the diverse majors in the College of Humanities. Dedicated to enhancing the quality of the undergraduate experience, D S A G meets every 2-3 weeks each quarter to discuss issues of interest and to plan activities for their classmates. For example, each year they organize career night, a study abroad panel, fireside chats with Humanities faculty, and maintain the Humanities Student Advising Handbook. They're also involved with the College's Welcome Week activities, alumni tailgate party, and Baccalaureate. Please use the links below to learn more about DSAG and their activities.

Some projects and activities in which they are involved include:

.Majors Meet and Greet is a 'new' tradition where Humanities faculty, returning Humanities majors and incoming students can gather and get to know one-another in an informal atmosphere.

.Look Into Your Future: Career Night with Alumni has become an annual event for career exploration bringing successful Humanities alumni back to O S U to speak with students about their careers and job search processes.

D S A G also coordinates a Study Abroad Panel for Humanities Students for students who are interested in studying in a foreign country can hear first-hand accounts of the experience from beginning to end.

We have initiated a series of .Fireside Chats with Humanities Faculty that bring faculty and students together to discuss current topics of interest.

D S A G also helps with Welcome Week, Baccalaureate, and other College functions.
