Each year, Ohio State's Graduate School highlights the exceptional research and teaching regularly carried out by graduate students through its annual awards reception. Only a select few among the thousands of graduate students employed are recognized. An impressive number of humanities students were among those honored in several categories at an event held May 28 at the OSU Faculty Club.
Five humanities students received the Graduate Associate Teaching Award, the university's highest recognition of exceptional teaching. They were:
Anouschka Bergmann (Linguistics),

Annett Krause (Germanic Language and Literatures),
Mark Rice (History), and
Diane Ruggiero and
