Visual Identity Guidelines
College of Humanities Signature
The College of Humanities signature is a combination of the logotype and the H symbol. The H symbol represents The Ohio State University Campus Oval and associates its importance as the center of the campus with the centrality of the humanities in The Ohio State University curriculum. As one of two key elements of the identity system, along with the Humanities University signature, the Humanities Signature and its consistent use will promote and distinguish the College of Humanities. The signature should never be altered or changed in any way and should be reproduced exactly as indicated in these guidelines. See below for guidance in determining when to use the Humanities signature and the Humanities University signature.
College of Humanities Signature Elements
The College of Humanities signature consists of the H symbol and the College of Humanities logotype. To preserve the integrity of the College of Humanities signature, these elements and their relative sizes and positioning must not be altered. The ideal representation of the College of Humanities signature is the PMS 200 and Black version. The College of Humanities strongly recommends its use on printed communications and on Web pages. A black and white version is available for black and white printing and for use in media for which the color logo is not suitable. Always use the version of the College of Humanities signature that best suits the design and medium of your communication.
