Hello College of Humanities Alum!Did you know you are an OSU College of Humanities alum? Many are surprised to learn that their major was actually part of the College of Humanities:
African American and African Studies / Arabic / Chinese / Classics / Comparative Studies / English / French / German / Hebrew / History / Islamic Studies / Italian / Japanese / Jewish Studies / Korean / Linguistics / Medieval and Renaissance / Modern Greek / Philosophy / Portuguese / Russian / Spanish / Women’s Studies / World Literatures
You may also be surprised to know that there is a College of Humanities Alumni Society - known as HUMAS - that regularly plans fun and educational functions for Humanities alumni. Anyone who is a graduate of a College of Humanities department is welcome to participate in HUMAS. In fact, just by being a College of Humanities alum, you are automatically a member of HUMAS! We provide this membership to you free of charge - there are no dues to be part of the group.
Your involvement with the College of Humanities is as valuable now as it was when you attended Ohio State. Coordinating a get-together in your town, helping with an alumni event, mentoring a student, or supporting the College of Humanities scholarship fund are all ways that your particular expertise and energy can benefit future generations of Humanities students. We encourage you to put your enthusiasm and life experience to work for current and incoming students by becoming involved with HUMAS!
