One of the main goals of our Alumni Society is to encourage and support academic and research excellence. To accomplish this goal, the society has established a scholarship fund for Humanities students. This endowed scholarship provides support on the basis of academic merit and a planned study abroad program.Alumni contributions, society special events, and auction proceeds provide funds to maintain the scholarship and expand it to more deserving students. Please consider supporting our students by participating in society events and making a generous donation. Simply include fund #603337 on the memo line of your gift check. Humanities Alumni Scholarship Fund
A primary purpose of HUMAS is ensuring that the most qualified students have the opportunity to complete their education in the Humanities at OSU. For that reason, we raise funds at our events through silent auctions, raffles, and other activities to provide scholarships.Competition for Humanities Alumni scholarships is open to full-time undergraduate students with a declared major in a humanities discipline, a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3 and above, and a planned study abroad program. Awards will be made on the basis of academic merit. Preference will be given to sophomores or juniors. For more information visit the COH Scholarship information pages.
